Pure Living Yoga Classes

When Pure Living Yoga was founded, our studio became committed to providing services for EVERYONE. Regardless of your skill level, goals, or practice knowledge, we will offer classes that fit you perfectly. Our team consists of several teachers that have each brought individualized expertise to the studio, which has allowed us to build our service list from the ground up. 

We developed Pure Living Yoga to help other yogis heal their lives, for students to further their learning about this sacred practice and to connect people with inspiring change. We invite you to join us in your practice.
If you aren’t sure what class would be the best fit for you, ask one of our team members. If, at any point during your practice, you need to modify an exercise, our teachers can assist you with that. We work together to create harmony and balance. 

To attend our classes, you can pre-register online to guarantee a spot in your desired class, or you can show up before your class. However, we cannot guarantee room for drop-ins. We request that you come 15 minutes before your practice to find your space in our studio. 

Please bring your mat, water bottle and a sweat towel with you to your practice. If you need a yoga mat, they are available subject to availability.

Vinyasa

Vinyasa yoga may also be referred to as “flow” or “power yoga.” Vinyasa is the practice of different flowing movements that are held for only a single inhale or exhale. Throughout your Vinyasa practice, you’ll begin to build your mobility, stronger bones, coping mechanisms for stress and steady breathing techniques. Each class is different and the pace is fast.

Yang/Yin

Yang/Yin yoga combines two ancient yoga classes: Yang (which works to energize the body while maintaining strength) and Yin (quiets and centres the mind while improving flexibility). We begin your practice with Yang yoga, which uses repetitive movements to improve blood flow before cooling down with Yin yoga, which stretches out the muscles and employs breathwork. Yang/Yin beautifully contradicts itself while reaping the benefits of both ancient practices.

Hot Yoga

We offer hot yoga in Regina! Not only does hot yoga help burn calories through the flow and practice of yoga, but it helps to increase blood circulation, build bone density and improve flexibility.

Kid’s Yoga Session

Yoga can make a positive impact in all lives, but especially young lives. We are beyond excited to invite the next generation to experience well-being and mindfulness through the practice of yoga.

Yin and Guided Meditation

Enjoy an exchange of active and passive approaches to the cooling movements with Yin yoga. You’ll utilize stretching movements and calming breathwork as we lead you through a rewarding, guided meditation.

Whether you’ve had a long week, or would like to centre yourself and become present, our Yin and Guided Meditation is the perfect addition to your week. This class is an excellent fit for beginners or meditation lovers.

Ashtanga

Join us online for a dynamic, physically demanding — yet balanced practice that synchronizes breath and movement to produce an internal purification of the body.

With its many vinyasas and vigorous asanas, it is excellent for building core strength and toning the body. Purify the body and mind with powerful and quick movements, as you develop physical strength and muscle stamina. Intense, flowing movements will improve control and flexibility. Though challenging, Ashtanga provides a rewarding exercise with the benefit of empowering yoga and calming breathwork.

Beginner’s Vinyasa

We offer yoga for beginners in Regina. If you’re new to yoga but want to benefit from the flowing movements of Vinyasa, then sign up for this beginner’s class.

Beginner’s Vinyasa tones things down for you to get acquainted with the quick flow and popular movements. During your Beginner’s Vinyasa class, our teacher will cover the importance of breathwork and will take the time to cover the practice in-depth.

Hatha

This online yoga practice consists of similar postures and sequencing each class. The set postures are performed in a specific order to aid the body in cleansing from the inside-out. This class is excellent for eliminating toxins, while also improving both strength and flexibility.

Hatha can be translated to “forceful” or “willful.” It is the most traditional form of yoga, featuring physical postures that balance your mind and body. During Hatha yoga, breathwork is imperative for a successful practice. Following your exercise, you may begin your daily meditation. Great for yogis of all levels.

New Moon Manifestation

The new moon signifies a period of inward reflection. It presents a brilliant opportunity to focus on the workings of our minds and how we view our lives. This is a powerful time to set seeds of intention and let go of what is no longer serving our higher good.

Join us online in our monthly ritual of meditation and manifestation under the energy of the new moon.
