Brittany Kish

Brittany’s yoga journey has always been about balance. It is what drew her to yoga as a teenager and it is what has kept her practicing over the past 5 years, teaching over the past 3 years, and owning a yoga based business over the last 2 years.

Brit designs her yoga classes based on the concepts of biological homeostasis. She was taught that all biological systems thrive in balance and that when a system is imbalanced it is more likely to fail. As human beings our search for this balanced state can become complex as it includes our body and mind. The practice of yoga pushes us to expand in both body and mind which at times can be uncomfortable, but this is what Brittany loves to share. We grow in our lives when we lean into our perceived limitations and we find better balance when we understand ourselves physically and mentally.

In her yoga classes you will find a little bit of everything from hardcore sweat and sensation, to soft and sweet relaxation, and everything in between. Brittany creates her classes for overall balance, health, and wellness and this changes from day to day and from person to person. You can expect to be nudged towards your limits in a very gentle… and sometimes not so gentle way. She makes you work harder than you think you are, leaving room for more enjoyment and ease even when there is hard work being done.

Brittany is incredibly passionate about this work. Finding balance in an often unbalanced world is what fuels her fire to do what she does. Our lives always present challenges, but she believes we do not have to suffer through challenge. Brittany is constantly learning in her own practice and teachings to diversify her offerings and has hours of teaching experience and practice. Her classes are something you need to experience for yourself.
